Haaland helps Maresca achieve record start as Manchester City defeat Ipswich

Enzo Maresca became the first manager to win his first seven games in charge of a team as Manchester City defeated Ipswich in their first home Premier League game since being found to have breached financial rules. Phil Foden instigated the victory, with Erling Haaland securing the points, moving City six points clear at the top. Ipswich provided some resistance through Daizen Maeda and Zian Flemming, but ultimately could not prevent the defeat.
