Haaland scores winner for 10-man City in VAR-dominated Manchester derby

Manchester City beat Manchester United 1-0 in the Manchester derby despite playing with 10 men after Phil Foden was shown a straight red card in the 22nd minute for kicking out at Bruno Fernandes. Erling Haaland scored the winner at the hour-mark, finishing at the far post from a Josko Gvardiol cross, with the goal initially ruled out for offside before VAR overturned the decision. United hit the woodwork twice through Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo but could not find an equaliser.
