Halfpenny appointed Cardiff Rugby kicking coach

Leigh Halfpenny, 37, has been appointed as a full-time kicking coach at Cardiff Rugby after transitioning from his playing career, during which he accumulated 90 appearances and 570 points for the club. He had previously served in a player-coach role last season before retiring in May, and also assisted the Wales senior men's squad as a kicking coach for the first three rounds of the Nations Championship. Halfpenny will now join Cardiff on a permanent basis ahead of the next season.
