Hamilton: F1 not had 'anyone like me in 70 years'

Lewis Hamilton, 41, has stated that Formula 1 has 'never had anyone like me in seventy years,' expressing his belief that he is physically and mentally capable of racing into the 2030s. The seven-time world champion, currently in his 20th F1 season, holds a Ferrari contract through the end of 2027 and claimed his first victory with the team at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix in June 2026. Hamilton referenced the planned African Grand Prix in Rwanda, slated for early next decade, as a potential motivation to extend his career.
