‘Heartbroken’ Tottenham star ruled out for rest of season and World Cup with ACL injury
Tottenham Hotspur's Xavi Simons, 23, has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during Spurs' 1-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, April 26, 2026, after twisting his knee in the second half at Molineux. The attacking midfielder is expected to be sidelined for approximately eight months, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.
