Herta's debut and more: Every F1 practice rookie at Barcelona

At the Barcelona Grand Prix, Formula 1 teams are fulfilling their required rookie practice outings during FP1 of the seventh round of the 2026 season. Among those making their F1 practice debuts is Colby Herta, alongside McLaren reserve Lorenzo Fornaroli, a 21-year-old back-to-back Formula 3/Formula 2 champion. Frederik Vesti, the 24-year-old former F2 runner-up, is also among the confirmed stand-in drivers participating in the session.
