He's been benched, replaced and pushed out. Now North Texas' Tayven Jackson is of the nation's top QBs

Tayven Jackson, a quarterback who attracted no starting interest when he entered the transfer portal last winter, has emerged as one of college football's top performers at North Texas. The four-school journeyman has led the Mean Green to a 6-2 record while ranking third nationally in passing yards and throwing 22 touchdowns. Jackson's turnaround is remarkable given he had previously been benched, replaced, and pushed out at prior programs.
