Heyward just misses out on mile medal in Glasgow

Jake Heyward finished fourth in the men's mile at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, narrowly missing out on a medal. World record holder Josh Kerr won gold in a time of 3:54.12, with Australian Cameron Myers taking silver and Kenya's Timothy Cheruiyot earning bronze. Heyward's fourth-place finish left him just outside the podium at the home Games.
