Historic West Bridgford cricket ground celebrates 100 years with special match v MCC

West Bridgford Legion Cricket Club is celebrating the 100th anniversary of West Park ground, originally built in 1926 as a private ground for philanthropist Sir Julien Cahn, with a special match against the MCC scheduled for June 2026. The ground, located on Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, has hosted notable games including matches against West Indies, India and South Africa international sides. Trent Bridge has already invested over £180,000 in the ground as part of a 25-year lease to expand cricket provision in the area.
