Hodgkinson’s key rival Werro reinstated after shock fall to set up dream Euro 800m final
Swiss runner Audrey Werro was reinstated into the European Championship 800m final on Friday after a review confirmed she was accidentally tripped and fell during Thursday's first semi-final. Werro, 22, who ran the third fastest 800m time in history in June, will now face Olympic gold medallist Keely Hodgkinson and Netherlands' Femke Broeders-Bol, the 400m hurdles world champion competing at 800m this season. The reinstatement sets up a highly anticipated three-way showdown in the final.
