HOF boxer Wilfredo Gomez dies at 69

Puerto Rican boxing legend Wilfredo 'Bazooka' Gomez died Saturday night at the age of 69 after being hospitalized with respiratory complications. Gomez was a three-division world champion, winning titles at junior featherweight, featherweight, and junior lightweight, and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1995. He first captured the WBC junior featherweight title in October 1977 at age 20 and retired from professional boxing in 1989.
