Hollie Davidson had very different career before becoming rugby referee
Hollie Davidson made history in 2024 by becoming the first female referee to officiate a men's Six Nations match, taking charge of a clash in Dublin. She has since added another landmark by becoming the first woman to referee a match in the Top 14. Before her full-time refereeing career, Davidson studied economic history at the University of Edinburgh and worked at J.P. Morgan, becoming Scotland's first full-time female professional referee in 2017.
