Home Run Derby 2026 field: Rays' Junior Caminero first participant announced

Tampa Bay Rays' Junior Caminero has been announced as the first participant in the 2026 Home Run Derby, scheduled for July 13 at 8 p.m. ET at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park. The event, which will feature eight competitors, marks a return to swing-based (non-timed) rounds for the first time since 2014. The competition will be broadcast on Netflix.
