NHL Network has released its Top 20 Centers list ahead of the 2026-27 NHL season, featuring New Jersey Devils teammates Jack Hughes (10th) and Nico Hischier (15th). Hughes recorded 77 points in 61 games last season with 27 goals and 50 assists, while Hischier led the team with 28 goals and 66 points. The Devils and Edmonton Oilers, who feature Connor McDavid (1st) and Leon Draisaitl (4th), were the only franchises with two centers in the Top 20.
