Hunt wins 3rd gold in GB women's relay triumph

Great Britain's women's 4x100m relay team won gold at the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham on August 15, finishing in 42.05 seconds with a quartet of Dina Asher-Smith, Amy Hunt, Success Eduan, and Imani-Lara Lansiquot. Asher-Smith became the joint most-decorated athlete in European Athletics Championships history with 10 medals, equalling Polish sprinter Irena Szewinska but holding seven golds to Szewinska's five. Hunt, claiming her third gold of the championships, is now one win away from an unprecedented European quadruple, with Switzerland taking silver (43.12s) and Poland bronze (43.15s).
