‘I can run 1:58’: Sabastian Sawe sets new target after historic London Marathon win
Kenyan runner Sabastian Sawe, 31, broke the marathon world record by 65 seconds at the London Marathon on Sunday, clocking 1hr 59mins 30sec. Speaking the day after his historic sub-two-hour performance, Sawe expressed confidence he can run 1:58 and confirmed plans to race again in autumn, with Berlin in September under consideration. Sawe also called for more drugs testing to demonstrate the cleanliness of his performances.
