IBA PRO 19: Gassiev stops Kadiru to make successful first WBA heavyweight title defence - IBA

Murat Gassiev (Russia) successfully made the first defence of his WBA heavyweight world title at IBA PRO 19, held at VTB Arena in Moscow, forcing Peter Kadiru (Germany) to retire in the sixth round. Gassiev had originally won the title at IBA PRO 13. The event also featured Tamerlan Ozdoev stopping Shivam Jangra in the eighth round to claim the WBA Asia East heavyweight title.
