Moses Itauma will fight Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF heavyweight title on August 29 at The O2 in London, with the bout streaming on DAZN pay-per-view. The IBF title became vacant after Oleksandr Usyk relinquished the WBC, WBA, and IBF belts on June 26. Promoter Frank Warren confirmed that Queensberry Promotions paid IBF No. 1 contender Frank Sanchez to step aside, clearing the way for the Itauma-Hrgovic matchup to become the championship fight.
