Owen enjoyed a breakthrough at Royal Ascot when Rogue Diplomat won the Royal Hunt Cup, compensating for Ranga Tang's narrow defeat earlier on the card. Owen has compared Ranga Tang's staying potential to Big Brother Orange, the 2017 Ascot Gold Cup winner, and the horse also holds an entry in the Goodwood Cup.
