"I'm not the favourite, Marc is" - Martin on 2026 title race

At the halfway point of the 2026 MotoGP season, Championship leader Jorge Martin has downplayed his own title chances, insisting that Marc Marquez is the true favourite. Marquez claimed his 10th MotoGP victory at the Sachsenring (German GP), moving to third in the standings, just 18 points behind the lead. Only 24 points currently separate five riders at the top of the Championship standings.
