India's Abhishek Sharma hits 30-ball hundred, the fastest in T20 internationals by batter from Test-playing nation

India's Abhishek Sharma smashed a century off just 30 balls against Afghanistan in Delhi, setting a new record for the fastest T20 international hundred by a batter from a Test-playing nation. His innings included 11 sixes and nine fours, surpassing the previous record of 33-ball centuries held by New Zealand's Finn Allen and Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza. Abhishek also eclipsed India's previous fastest T20I ton, which was hit by Rohit Sharma off 35 balls against Sri Lanka.
