Irish Conclude Season Against JMU in NCAA Tournament

The #16 Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's lacrosse team was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in the First Round on Friday, falling 12-13 to #22 James Madison in Evanston, Illinois, ending their season at 12-6. Freshman Charley Bacigalupo set a career high with four goals and seven points, while sophomore Madison Rassas recorded her eighth hat trick of the season with three goals and four points. Notre Dame led 9-7 at halftime after a dominant second quarter but could not hold on as James Madison outscored them in the second half.
