Irish Open: Jon Rahm announces return to DP World Tour event at Doonbeg alongside Ryder Cup team-mates

Jon Rahm has been confirmed in the field for the Irish Open at Doonbeg, scheduled for September 10-13. The Spaniard rejoined the DP World Tour in May after paying all outstanding fines related to his move to LIV Golf, and must compete in five events in 2026 to remain eligible for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, Ireland. Rahm is a two-time Irish Open champion, having previously won the title in 2017 at Portstewart and in 2019 at Lahinch.
