Hayden Wilde of New Zealand won the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France, securing his first IRONMAN title. He made his decisive move on the bike leg before pulling away during the half marathon run. Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt mounted a strong fightback but ultimately could not overcome Wilde's lead.
