Isack Hadjar 'spiral' feared after Miami GP crash
Rookie F1 driver Isack Hadjar crashed out of the Miami Grand Prix on lap six after clipping the inside wall at Turn 15, breaking his steering column and sending him into the outside barrier. Former F1 driver Karun Chandhok has expressed concern that the self-inflicted incident, combined with Hadjar's struggles to match teammate Max Verstappen across all Miami sessions, could trigger a downward spiral in form. Chandhok noted that Hadjar had been competitive with Verstappen in Japan, but that the gap widened significantly once the Red Bull car received a substantial upgrade.
