Isak, Gakpo injured, out of Liverpool vs. City

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has confirmed that Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo will miss the Premier League clash against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday. Isak suffered a thigh injury during Sweden's UEFA Nations League match against Romania, while Gakpo sustained an ankle injury following a challenge by Serbia's Sasa Lukic. Both players had been in strong form for Liverpool early in the season before being forced to withdraw from their respective international squads.
