It seems you can forget about Peyton Manning being the Colts’ GM

The Indianapolis Colts are searching for a new general manager after owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon fired Chris Ballard. Despite broadcaster Dan Patrick reporting that the Colts had reached out to franchise legend Peyton Manning about the GM role, it appears Manning will not be filling the position. As of October 25, 2026, the situation remains unresolved with Manning seemingly out of contention for the job.
