‘It was insane’ — Emma Raducanu overcomes a bizarre flypast delay and injury scare to reach Queen’s semi-finals
Emma Raducanu defeated Uzbekistan's Kamilla Rakhimova 6-3 7-5 in the quarter-finals of the HSBC Championships at Queen's Club, securing her place in the semi-finals where she will face American Iva Jovic. Her match was briefly interrupted for around five minutes by the King's birthday Trooping the Colour flypast, including the Red Arrows, which passed directly over centre court. Fellow Briton Katie Boulter was eliminated in the semi-finals, losing 6-1 6-3 to Croatia's Donna Vekic.
