Italian Grand Prix: Lewis Hamilton says it is 'far too late' to be given priority over Charles Leclerc at Ferrari
At the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, Lewis Hamilton finished sixth after being pushed onto the grass by Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc on the opening lap, dropping him to 10th place. Leclerc subsequently crashed at the Parabolica, leaving Hamilton as Ferrari's best hope for a top-three finish. Despite Hamilton sitting 36 points ahead of Leclerc in the drivers' championship, he stated it is 'far too late' for Ferrari to grant him priority over his team-mate in the title fight.
