Italian Open: Jannik Sinner breaks Novak Djokovic's record with 32nd straight Masters win to reach Rome semi-finals

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner defeated Andrey Rublev 6-2, 6-4 at the Italian Open to record his 32nd consecutive victory at ATP Masters 1000 level, breaking Novak Djokovic's previous record. The win advances Sinner to the Rome semi-finals, where he is in contention to become the first Italian man to win the home tournament since Adriano Panatta in 1976. Defending finalist Sinner will compete without top rival Carlos Alcaraz, who is sidelined with a right wrist injury.
