ITV agrees deal for 2027 Rugby World Cup and sews up rights to England men

ITV has secured live rights to the 2027 men's Rugby World Cup, cementing its position as the primary broadcaster of international rugby in the UK. The deal guarantees ITV coverage of every England men's international match until at least 2029, complementing its existing joint Six Nations agreement with the BBC, under which ITV broadcasts two-thirds of matches including all England games. ITV has also acquired live rights for all games in the 2026 and 2028 editions of the new Nations Championship, which kicks off this weekend.
