
IWLCA Applauds Historic Joint NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championships in 2027 & 2028
The NCAA has announced that its Women's Lacrosse Championships will be held at a single joint site for all three divisions (Division I, Division II, and Division III) for the first time in history, beginning in 2027. Towson University will host the inaugural joint championship on May 28-30, 2027, at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Maryland, followed by the 2028 edition at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, with Temple University as host institution. The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has praised the announcement as a landmark moment for collegiate women's lacrosse.
