Jack Draper: Former world No 4 calls for patience amid 'perfect storm' of injuries ahead of possible US Open return

British tennis player Jack Draper has called for patience from fans as he works his way back from a series of injuries that have dropped his ranking from world No 4 to No 147. Draper, coached by Sir Andy Murray, missed all three 2026 Grand Slams and recently withdrew from the DC Open with an arm injury. He has received a wild card for the National Bank Open in Montreal and will need to go through qualifying to compete at the US Open, which begins on August 30th.
