Jack Hughes to retire from Rugby League

Leigh Leopards have confirmed that Jack Hughes, 34, will retire from professional rugby league at the end of the 2026 season after a career spanning more than 15 years. Hughes represented six clubs including Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves, and Leigh Leopards, as well as England Knights and Great Britain. Among his honours are a Super League Grand Final title with Wigan in 2013, a Challenge Cup win with Warrington in 2019, and a historic Wembley victory with Leigh in 2023.
