Jackson Blake wins Stanley Cup with Carolina Hurricanes
Former University of North Dakota forward Jackson Blake helped the Carolina Hurricanes win the 2026 Stanley Cup, defeating the Vegas Golden Knights in six games on Sunday night in Las Vegas. Blake, 22, recorded an outstanding postseason with 7 goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 19 games, becoming the 15th former UND player to have his name on the Stanley Cup. He also became the youngest player in Carolina franchise history to record seven multi-point games in a single postseason, adding a goal and an assist in the Cup-clinching game.
