Jackson Koivun fends off Scottie Scheffler to earn first career PGA Tour win at 3M Open
Jackson Koivun, a 21-year-old rookie who turned professional just 24 days before the tournament, claimed his first PGA Tour title at the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota on July 26, 2026. Koivun shot a bogey-free 66 in the final round to finish at 25-under par, setting a new tournament scoring record and defeating world number one Scottie Scheffler by three shots. The victory came in only Koivun's third PGA Tour start, having shed his amateur status β which included a stint as the top-ranked amateur in the world β shortly after the U.S. Open.
