Jackson Koivun moves three strokes up at 3M Open with third-round 61, tournament-record back nine
New PGA Tour member Jackson Koivun, a 21-year-old former Auburn standout who turned pro last month after the U.S. Open, shot a third-round 61 on Saturday at the 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota, to take a three-stroke lead at 20-under par. His round included two eagles and six birdies, and he set a tournament record with a 28 on the back nine at TPC Twin Cities. Emiliano Grillo and Ben Kohles are tied for second at 17-under, while world number one Scottie Scheffler sits six strokes back in a four-way tie for ninth.
