Jackson Koivun wins 3M Open in third pro start, holding off world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler
Jackson Koivun, a 21-year-old rookie, won the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota on Sunday in just his third professional start, finishing with a tournament-record 25-under 259 total and a closing 5-under 66. He held off world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who shot a 63 but finished three strokes back for his fourth runner-up finish of the season. Hideki Matsuyama, Brian Harman, Chandler Phillips, and Denny McCarthy tied for third at 20 under.
