Jak Crawford set for next FP1 run with Aston Martin in Belgium
Aston Martin has confirmed that third driver Jak Crawford will participate in Free Practice 1 at the Belgian Grand Prix, marking his third FP1 appearance of the 2026 season. Crawford previously drove in FP1 in Japan (in Fernando Alonso's car) and Austria (replacing Lance Stroll), and this session will also fulfill the team's third mandatory rookie practice run out of four required per season. The 21-year-old American will again drive Alonso's AMR26, having also recently appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and completed a Pirelli tyre test in Barcelona in June.
