Jak Crawford to drive Aston Martin in Austrian Grand Prix FP\P1 session

Aston Martin reserve driver Jak Crawford will replace Lance Stroll in the AMR26 for the opening practice session (FP1) at the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. This will be Crawford's fourth FP1 appearance for Aston Martin and his second of the 2026 season, fulfilling the second of the team's four mandatory rookie practice sessions required by Formula 1. The American arrives having recently completed a Pirelli tyre test in Barcelona and has accumulated over 3,800 kilometres of Formula 1 running as part of Aston Martin's driver development programme.
