Jakob Ingebrigtsen Confirmed for 1500m at Diamond League Final in Brussels

Jakob Ingebrigtsen, the 25-year-old two-time Olympic champion, has been confirmed for the 1500m at the Diamond League Final (Allianz Memorial Van Damme) in Brussels on September 4. The Norwegian is returning from an 11-month absence due to an Achilles injury, having recently won his fourth consecutive European Championship 5000m title and posted times of 3:31.16 (fourth place) in Silesia and 3:32.16 (fifth place) in Zürich. Brussels will be his third Diamond League appearance of the season, ahead of the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in September where he will face mile world record holder Josh Kerr in the 1500m.
