Jakub Menšík’s tennis rise looked inevitable. Instead, he found the tools to make it happen

Czech tennis player Jakub Menšík, 20, has reached his first Grand Slam semifinal at the French Open, where he will face world No. 3 Alexander Zverev on Friday. Menšík's rise gained momentum when, at age 19, he defeated Novak Djokovic to win the Miami Open, an ATP Masters 1000 event. Both Menšík and Zverev have a chance to claim their first Grand Slam title with a strong finish at Roland Garros.
