James Coles named Rothesay County Championship player-of-the-round

James Coles of Sussex has been named Rothesay County Championship Player of the Round after scoring an unbeaten 224 from 226 balls, including 22 fours and 11 sixes, in a dominant innings against Glamorgan at Hove. Sussex posted 521 in reply to Glamorgan's first-innings 155, and Coles then took 3-34 with his left-arm spin as Glamorgan were bowled out for 268. Sussex won by an innings and 98 runs, with Coles also crediting a recent unbeaten 63 for England Lions against South Africa A for boosting his confidence.
