Jannik Sinner knocked out of French Open after suffering with cramp when two sets up and game from winning second round match
World No. 1 and top seed Jannik Sinner was eliminated from the French Open in a stunning second-round defeat to Juan Manuel Cerundolo, despite leading 6-3, 6-2, 5-1 and serving for the match. Sinner suffered severe cramping and called for a medical timeout, also reporting dizziness and nausea, before losing 15 consecutive points and ultimately falling in five sets. The loss marks one of the most dramatic collapses at Roland-Garros in recent memory, ending the Italian's title challenge at the second round.
