Jannik Sinner became the first man to win five consecutive Masters 1,000 titles by defeating Alexander Zverev 6-1 6-2 in just 58 minutes at the Madrid Open. The 24-year-old Italian first seed extended his winning streak to 23 consecutive matches with the dominant straight-sets victory over the world number three. Sinner had previously won the 2025 ATP 1,000 events in Indian Wells, Miami, and Monte Carlo before adding the Madrid title.
