Jannik Sinner might have a heat problem, but tennis has a bigger one
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner was eliminated in the second round of the French Open at Roland Garros, losing to Argentina's Juan Manuel Cerúndolo (world No. 56) after suffering dizziness and leg cramps in the heat, which approached 90°F. Sinner had been leading 6-3, 6-2, 5-2 and was just four points from advancing to the third round when his condition deteriorated rapidly. The defeat highlights a recurring vulnerability for Sinner in hot conditions, which had also nearly cost him at the Australian Open in January.
