Ireland defeated Japan 36-20 in New South Wales to secure two bonus-point wins from two matches in the Nations Championship. Sean Jansen, a New Zealand-born number eight playing for Connacht, marked his international debut with a try, while Ireland's other tries came from Timoney, O'Toole, Henshaw, and Stewart.
