Jepkosgei smashes Cardiff Half Marathon course record as Kenya complete double

Joyciline Jepkosgei of Kenya broke the Cardiff Half Marathon course record, finishing in 65:40 and taking 12 seconds off Edith Chelimo's record that had stood since 2017. The 32-year-old pulled away from Ethiopia's Wede Kefale, who finished second in 1:05:54, around Roath Park Lake with three miles to go. Kenya completed a double as Gideon Kiprotich also won the men's race.
