Jhon Arias scored the winning goal to send Colombia into the last 16 of the World Cup, eliminating Ghana in the process. The decisive goal came from an assist by substitute Luis Suárez (the Sporting striker), with Colombia set to face Switzerland in Vancouver on Tuesday. Colombia were dominant throughout and now have the chance to at least match their best-ever World Cup result of reaching the quarter-finals, achieved at the 2014 tournament.
