JJ Gabriel, 15, bags hat trick on Youth League debut

Manchester United's 15-year-old prospect JJ Gabriel scored a hat trick on his UEFA Youth League debut as the Under-19s defeated Azerbaijani side Sabah 5-0 on Thursday in Leigh. Gabriel opened his account in the first half alongside goals from Amir Ibragimov and Jacob Watson, before adding two more late in the second half to claim the match ball. The performance came in front of director of football Jason Wilcox, director of recruitment Christopher Vivell, and first-team coach Travis Binnion, with United dominating proceedings by registering 44 attempts to Sabah's zero shots on target.
